Yes, you can use. However, since the antenna is not designed for the CB-band FM radio effective and even worse in the AM band.

If you want to listen very close proportion to the number of stations you, then you may be right. Try it, it will reach the recipient.

It works ... however.

The antenna was designed to provide an impedance of 50 ohms at 27 Mhz. The frequencies they think, and the type of equipment, most of the work in about 75 to 300 ohms. Where there are special antenna at these frequencies can not help it, can also be that the antenna has a special event or band-pass frame before and after cutting certain frequencies.

You'll notice that when the antenna on the chimney, the line of sight to the VHF range, comes into play, so you might think it works well, which is larger and can "see" several seasons. They are a long distance stations with appropriate conditions obtain (ground-level pipes, etc.)

The other thing I think is, you want to send a transmitter with a stronger signal, or if you prefer, a large number of channels will receive half of the signals between them?

If you want the best of the season, not much like Sirius on your roof, try a 3-element Yagi antenna mounted on the departure station polarisatieion of the antenna should not be too important, since most local stations and national use of mixed polarity.

If you want complete coverage of all things, try a simple folded dipole mounted vertically. DONT !!!!!! Circular walk folded dipole sphere, which have a negative impact on earnings from a dipole.

We hope to have contributed to
